Where does the time go to? Here we are with a third of 2012 already behind us and the summer months fast approaching. At Team Wesley Logistics this first part of the year has flown by and we are pleased to say that the volume of traffic has been exceptional considering the problems we are all experiencing in these still uncertain times. The one thing you can be certain of is that Team Wesley Logistics are at the fore in providing a first class service and enjoying increasing interest in our service to the North and South of Ireland as well as services to and from Europe in fact all four corners of the globe! Although cost is something that is primary in our thoughts lets us not forget that we are in a service industry and this is something we take very seriously here at Team Wesley, please feel free to contact one of "The Team" to see what we can do to take the stress out of moving your cargo.
For those of you who are in an area of drought yet currently experiencing the other extreme of floods, we hope that things will return to some form of normality, whatever normality may be, very quickly? With floods and disasters in mind please consider using our facility to insure your cargo with certificates issued online. Peace of mind may be cheaper than you think! |

Best wishes to you all for 2012 we hope you enjoyed Christmas, had a nice break and are now ready to face the year ahead.
Team Wesley's membership of the Elite Alliance Group, or EAG, a worldwide network of Freight Forwarders has proved quite benificial as we have at our fingertips like minded people who, when working as a global team, break down language and geographical barriers which eliminates problems normally encountered, we have utilised this on several occasions towards the end of 2011 to great effect speeding up the import/export process for you! Let us hope that 2012 sees the beginning of the end with the worlds financial difficulties, the markets finally sort themselves out and we return to some form of stability, if only we could see what is around the next bend? Whatever your plans for 2012 we here at Team Wesley Logistics wish you every success. |

The Festive Season fast approaches

And before you knew it the Christmas decorations were up!! Yes the festive season is fast approaching and we at Team Wesley Logistics delivered the first of many consignments of mince pies in mid October! Is it us or is the Christmas period getting that little bit earlier each year? If you are reading this whilst munching away on a mince pie then we could already have a connection with you as it may have been delivered by Team Wesley.
With all the problems the world is experiencing at the moment the one thing that remains a constant is freight still needs to be moved and we are happy to say that Team Wesley Logistics are at the fore in providing a first class service and enjoying increasing interest in our service to the North and South of Ireland as well as services to and from Europe in fact all four corners of the globe! Although cost is something that is primary in our thoughts lets us not forget that we are in a service industry and this is something we take very seriously here at Team Wesley, please feel free to contact one of "The Team" to see what we can do to take the stress out of moving your cargo. We must take time out to offer our thoughts and condolences to all those caught up in the various natural and un-natural disasters that seem to be occurring at this present time and send our best wishes to all those currently under threat by others or Mother Nature. With Mother Nature's power in mind please consider using our facility to insure your goods with certificates issued online. Peace of mind could be cheaper than you think! Last month our news feature from within the office was "Our Alan" and his gastronomic exploits, this month we would like to introduce Andrew, our Operations Director and Irish expert who is eagerly awaiting the birth of his third child which, as we type, is due anytime now. For those of you that know Andrew you will appreciate that he has a larger than life character and always has a happy and jovial manner whilst on the phone with customers, however, we regret to report that with the constant growth in traffic to and from the Emerald Isle he is struggling to stick to what was a strict and regimental keep fit regime with a regular hour long five a side football match every Thursday between 12.00 & 13.00 hrs. After this grueling workout he would return to the office ruddy faced and gasping for oxygen such is his level of devotion, one can of cream soda and a butty later he returns to full operational speed. The one thing that people don't know, as this is something he does not like anyone to know about and actually gets quite embarrassed about it, is that he is military trained and by watching Kung Fu Panda on many occasions with his two daughters as they think this is a character that he most resembles, see his skype picture, is also a highly tuned martial arts expert! His quest to maintain a high level of fitness in order to keep both body and mind as one is paramount and as such he takes all his nutritional advice from our Alan. For any enquiries or questions you may have on transport to and from Ireland do not hesitate to contact our Irish Guru and operations director Andrew Grange on 01274 678138, should Andrew not be available do not despair as you can talk to his trainer and mentor Dennis Sharp, our sales director who will be happy to assist with any enquiries you may have. To end, we are sure, here at Team Wesley, you will join us in wishing Andrew and his family many congratulations on the new addition to his family? Details will be posted Should you be in need of a storage solution, be it long or short term, then please give us a call on 01274 678138 or email direct from this website as we have taken on more warehousing space, we will ensure that Andrew's dietary supplements leave adiquate space for your needs. Should you need it we can provide a pick and pack service to run hand in hand with our delivery service. |

Team Wesley delivers to the Falklands

We here at Team Wesley are please to announce the completion of a turnkey project for the Falkland Isles, probably the most buoyant economy on the planet, In recent years, the Falkland Islands have enjoyed remarkable growth and economic development to become one of the United Kingdom's most dynamic and proactive Overseas Territories. With continued growth in hydorcarbon exploration, Tourism, Farming and the development of export markets we here at Team Wesley look forward to managing further projects to and from the Falkland Islands, we wish every success to both the islanders and those involved here in the UK with the growth of the Falklands. Once again we have to mention our involvement with local schools and government, following an article in the ifw wondering "if logistics was in the mix" when it comes to career choices in schools, this is a question that we have been asking for nearly twelve months now and with dogged determination we are slowly but surely getting through to the powers that be in local education! With the start of a new school term after the summer break we are expecting a renewed interest in our involvement with the local schools and colleges. We have been asked to join the local government and education board on their Education & Enterprise Group in which Public, private and third sectors working together to facilitate an effective and co-ordinated approach to education for work and enterprise that fully supports Bradford's priorities for education, and its economic prosperity. This could not have been timed any better as this will help to promote our willingness to get involved withn the local education authorities. On a lighter subject Alan, our deep sea and european import/export manager whose knowledge on freight forwarding is second to none, is a true gastronome and takes great delight in telling the rest of the Team what gourmet grub he is to consume that coming evening. His choice of food matches his in depth knowledge of global freight, only this week his evening meals have had a varied world wide influance including an Italian theme with a first class spaghetti bolognese, another evening it was on to America with authentic hot dogs , erm, six of them with the "works"!! Such is his enthusiasm it has now become a daily ritual in the office to ask "Alan what's for tea tonight?" We think it only fair at this juncture to point out that all these culinary delights are home made by his good lady wife. Friday lunchtime he joins us as we enjoy traditional fish & chips wi' bits, still fried in beef drip. look out for further news on Al and his food tour of the world. If you have any problems with transporting your wares in or out of the country then give "our Alan" a ring and he will help with any queries you may have. |
